Further to his successful stagings of I Capuleti e i Montecchi in Munich and Candide in Berlin, Vincent Boussard gets back to Germany were his staging of Adriana Lecouvreur at the Frankfurt Opera is being acclaimed. Press resume.

The Gießener Allgemeine Zeitung compliments the "focused stage direction and psychologically strong guidance of the characters" and Operanetz emphazises "the cunning way Vincent Boussard has the characters dealing with each other." The Rheinpfalz adds that the stage director "creates a fascinating confusion between reality and appearances, between life and theatre". Vincent Boussard permanently tries to express in his work the spirit of his time, an effort that has been noted by Deutsche Bühne online : "the theatrical bridge from past into present, from reality into the magic of theatre succeeds all-out."
